Day 1: Arrive Scotland - Poolewe
Arrive into Inverness Airport in the Scottish Highlands. You will be greeted by your private chauffeur for the duration of your trip and drive north west for about 1.5 hours through great scenery. Your destination, the Pool House Hotel in Poolewe, is one of the most relaxing and romantic hotels in Scotland and has won many awards. Settle into your opulent suite on arrival and enjoy the champagne in your room before you dine in the North by Northwest restaurant. (D)
Day 2: Poolewe Tour
Breakfast will be in the hotel before you take to the road. A drive through stunning scenery will take you onto one of the world’s best roads - the ‘Bealach Na Ba’ to Applecross. Take in the view and have a wonderful seafood lunch at the Applecross Inn. Re-trace your route back to Pool House – stopping along the way for a private Falconry lesson. Back at the hotel settle into a relaxing & romantic bath in your suite before another great meal and maybe a little whisky tasting in the amazing bar. (BD)
Day 3: Helicopter Scenic Flight
Breakfast will be served in the hotel before you board your waiting helicopter. You’ll be taken for scenic flight over the Islands before you head onto the Skye and a private cooking lesson and lunch with Lady Clare MacDonald. Afterwards you will take a short flight onto the Talisker Distillery for a private tour and an exclusive tasting in the Private VIP room. Board the helicopter again and you will take a different route back to Pool House and a private meal by candlelight in the hotel. (BD)
Day 4: Poolewe - Fort William
Breakfast will be served in the hotel before you check-out. You have the option of spending some time at the Inverewe Gardens this morning or you could visit ‘Aroma Sciences’ run by George Dodd – a world renowned perfumer – where you can sample many amazing perfumes or indeed create one of your own. Then drive down to Fort William and the renowned Inverlochy Castle. Check into your suite and then come down for drinks in the drawing room and dinner in the red dining room. (BD)
Day 5: Fort William
After breakfast you have the choice of how to spend the day. If you feel like trying your hand at fishing we could provide a wonderful experience for beginners or experts. This would take place on Loch Ossian at the nearby Corrour Estate. Alternatively, you may want to spend the day just relaxing around the estate or maybe visiting some art galleries around the area. You could also take a private trip on Loch Ness. Dinner tonight would be a private meal in the Library with a special Scottish menu. (BD)
Day 6: Fort William - Edinburgh
After a very relaxing time at Inverlochy Castle, you check out and head for Edinburgh. Stop at the House of Bruar en-route for a great shopping experience – they stock quality traditional Scottish clothing and products. Carry on towards Edinburgh and check into The Balmoral Hotel on Princes Street – you can select a room with great views of Edinburgh Castle. Dinner tonight will be at the Michelin Star restaurant Martin Wishart before you return to the Balmoral for a nightcap. (B)
Day 7: Depart Scotland
After breakfast in the hotel you will have time for some shopping and a tour of the city with your chauffeur. We can arrange private tours at exclusive jewellers in Edinburgh or you’d maybe prefer to see around Edinburgh Castle or The Royal Yacht Britannia. Enjoy lunch before your chauffeur will take you to Edinburgh Airport to catch your flight home. (B)
