Situated in the spectacular Atlas Mountains in Morocco, the award-winning Kasbah Tamadot was bought by Sir Richard Branson during one of his famous ballooning expeditions. From here you will enjoy stunning views; to the north extends a steep river valley, with sheer rocky limestone and forested mountains on either side, in contrast to the view of the breathtaking snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains on the southern side.

Each of the 18 rooms and suites has been individually decorated to reflect the beautiful architecture of the building, and features antiques from all over the world, where the spirit and charm of traditional Moroccan design is beautifully infused with contemporary elements, creating an ambience of luxurious serenity with a hint of exotic adventure. Kasbah Tamadot employs local Berber staff from the surrounding villages, giving guests a sense of staying in a Moroccan home rather than a hotel. Guests are invited to spend time at the indoor pool and spa area.

• Marrakech airport is a 45 minute taxi ride away. There are direct flights (usually with a stopover in Casablanca) from London, Paris and other cities.
