Day 1: Arrive Turkey
Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred in a private standard vehicle to your hotel.
Day 2: Istanbul Sightseeing
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel for Istanbul City Tour. You will visit the Hippodrome – where the ancient chariots raced. Full Day Tour with vehicle and Private Guide. Visit of the Blue Mosque an architectural marvel of the world with its six slender minarets gracefully greeting the Bosphorus. Visit of the Hagia Sophia most magnificent of all Byzantine churches and one of the world’s finest and largest architectural works of art.
The Grand Bazaar: Over 4000 shops are spread out in a giant labyrinth of small streets and passages. Spice Market: The bazaar is often referred to as the “Egyptian Market” due to the fact that spices used to come to the market from India and Southeast Asia via Egypt.
Day 3: Bosphorus Cruise
Today you will enjoy the Bosphorus right from the water. You will be picked up from your hotel to board Bosphorus Cruise by local ferry – see the palaces and mansions lining the shores. Possibility for lunch stop at local fish restaurant on the shores of the Bosphorus. After lunch, reach back on the ferry for returning to the hotel.
Day 4: Istanbul / Kusadasi
Morning is free to enjoy at your leisure…Later in the afternoon, departure by vehicle and driver to the Airport. Early evening flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel in Kusadası – Kayhanbey, located in the centre of Kusadasi and on a walking distance to all areas.
Day 5: Kusadasi – Explore Ephesus
Today explore what the Ancient City of Ephesus has to offer. One of the most fantastic archaeological wonders of the ancient world. The original site of Ephesus was established on the Aegean coast, which today is 8 km away from the excavations. As a strategic coastal gateway to the Eastern World, this city grew to be the second largest in the Roman Empire and the site of a Christian Shrine and one of theseven wonders of the ancient world. The Basilica of St. John. The Church is situated on the slopes of a hill near the village of Selçuk. St. John is believed to have spent the last years of his life in Ephesus writing his version of the Gospel.
Time for lunch at a local restaurant in the area before return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 6: Kusadasi
Full day at leisure to relax, enjoy hotel facilities and to pursue independent activities.
Day 7: Departure
Today you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for departure flight home.
